Tears Flow

Tears Flow - Tombstone Poetry

Tears flow, and cares not where the good man lies.
Till all who know him follow to the skies;
Tears, therefore, fall where these ashes steep;
His wife, friends, parent, children weep,
And justly few will over him transend,
As husband, Parent, Child and Friend.

An Honest Man

An Honest Man - Epitaph Poem

An honest man here lies at rest,
The friend of man, the friend of truth,
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm'd,
Few heads with knowledge so inform'd;
If there's another world, he lives in bliss;
If there is none, he made the best of this.
